Terms of use
About these terms
These terms apply when you use mortgageadviceuk.com and our introduction service. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What we do
mortgageadviceuk.com is an independent marketing website which acts solely as an introducer to companies who provide mortgage advice. We are not authorised to provide financial advice. The companies we introduce you to are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and they are separate from us. We are not responsible for the advice they give, or for services you obtain through them.
Information is not advice
Everything on this site, including our guides, calculators and rates, is general information and not personal advice. Calculator results are estimates. The rates shown are market averages published by the Bank of England and are not offers from any lender. Speak to a mortgage adviser before you make a decision. Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
Our service
There is no fee to use our service and no obligation to go ahead. We cannot promise that a mortgage will be available to you, or on what terms.
Using the site
You must not misuse the site, for example by trying to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access to it, or submit false or someone else's details in an enquiry form.
Our content
The content of this site belongs to MortgageAdviceUK. You may view it and print pages for your own personal use, but you must not copy or republish it without our permission.
Links to other sites
We are not responsible for the content of other websites we link to.
Our liability
We do not exclude or limit liability for anything the law does not allow us to exclude or limit, including death or personal injury caused by negligence and fraud. Otherwise, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of, or reliance on, the information on this site.
Complaints
See our complaints page.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always on this page. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in the courts there.
